- Dhruva washed his hands, sipped some water and sent a shower of arrows to the Yaksas from the bow designed by the divine Sage Narayana.
- The Yaksas sent arrows back which came like angry hooded serpents attacking Garuda. Dhruva attacked the Yaksas, tore their limbs, body, and head and sent them to Satyaloka, the abode of Brahma
